Hannover offers you a very well expanded local traffic network for visitors. Here you will find
timetables for the tram, subway, S-Bahn, German Rail (DB), the regional trains Start, Metronom, Westfalenbahn and the bus in Hannover.
 The following tickets are recommended for day visitors to travel by public transport in the city area of Hanover (fare zone A):
One Person:
- Day ticket for one person (One zone, day ticket entitles to travel on the
day of the ticket validity as often as you like by buses or trams of the
GVH partners. On the day of the validity the ticket is valid until 5:00
a.m. the next day.), 6,40 €
- Single ticket (One zone, single ticket enables you to travel in one
direction. It is valid to a maximum of two hours in all buses and trams
of the GVH partners. Changes can be made, return and round trip journeys
are not allowed.), 3,20 €
- Short trip ticket (One zone, short trip ticket enables you to travel five stops by bus or three stops by tram in the same direction. Changes can be made, 1,70 €
Groups (max. 5 Persons):
- Day ticket for groups (One zone, day ticket for groups up to 5 persons), 11,90 €
Tickets are available online in the shop, at the GVH customer center in Karmarschstraße 30, in ticket outlets such as Kiosks, at vending machines, by GVH-App, available in the DB Navigator or the bus driver. In the tram no ticket can be solved.
