From the 12st to the 16th of April 2021 the Hannover Messe opens its doors for the biggest industrial show in the world.
Around 6,000 exhibitors present the current trends in the fields of industrial automation and IT, drive and fluid technology, energy and environmental technologies, industrial subcontracting, production technologies and services as well as research and development.
Indonesia is the partner country of the Hannover Messe 2021. At the opening, it is expected, that a representative of Indonesia will meet Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel.

Reduced tickets only at the box office: 19,00 € (for pupils, apprentices, students and disabled).
Special ticket on Friday for children / adolescents under 15 years old as well as accompanying adults and small groups for a discounted entrance fee of 3.00 € at the ticket offices. Children up to 6 years have free entry.

The GVH offers the new Hannover Messe Card, this is interesting especially for exhibitors and long-term guests. This allows any number of trips from 19.04. until 24.04.2020 in the entire GVH tarif area with all buses and trains (2nd class only) of the partners (üstra, Regiobus, DB, Metronom, Erixx and Westfalenbahn) until 5:00 o'clock of the following day.
The Hannover Messe Cards are available in the Customer Center Karmarschstraße 30/32, online in the Mobility Shop and from the respective trade fair day at the Üstra-Infopoint in front of the exhibition center.
The following tickets are recommended for day visitors to travel by public transport to the exhibition grounds:
From Hannover Main Railway Station / City:
One Person:
- Tageskarte (One zone, day ticket entitles to travel on the day of the ticket validity as often as you like by buses or trams of the GVH partners. On the day of the validity the ticket is valid until 5:00 a.m. the next day.), 5,80 €
- Einzelkarte (One zone, single ticket enables you to travel in one direction. It is valid to a maximum of two hours in all buses and trams of the GVH partners. Changes can be made, return and round trip journeys are not allowed.), 2,90 €
- Tageskarte Gruppe (One zone, day ticket for groups up to 5 persons), 10,80 €
One Person:
- Tageskarte (Two zones, day ticket), 7,40 €
- Einzelkarte (Two zones, single ticket), 3,70 €

Tram Lines 8+18 to the Entrances North 1+2
The tram departs from Hannover Main Railway Station via the stations Kröpcke, Aegidientorplatz, Altenbekener Damm, Bothmerstraße to the terminus Messe-Nord. Travel time: approx. 18 minutes.
Tram Lines 6 to the Entrances East 3
Via the stations Kröpcke, Aegidientorplatz, Braunschweiger Platz, Bult, Tierärztliche Hochschule, Kronsberg to the terminus Messe/Ost (Expo-Plaza).

During the Hannover Messe, the trains of Deutsche Bahn will be holding directly at the station Hannover Messe / Laatzen. The train station is about 400 meters from the entrance West 1 .
Hannover Messe visitors arriving with Deutsche Bahn can currently benefit from a DB saver fare.

The Messeschnellweg will be probably set up as a one-way street (measures "A") between Seelhorster Kreuz and the exit Messe-Nord on the three middle days of the fair (14-16.7., daily from about 07:15 until about 11:30).

- A2 from direction West (Dortmund) -> Autobahnkreuz Hannover-Buchholz -> A37/Messeschnellweg
- A2 from direction Ost (Berlin) -> AK Hannover-Ost -> A7 Rtg. Kassel -> AS Anderten -> B65 -> Seelhorst -> Messeschnellweg
- A7 from direction North (Hamburg): A 7 -> AK Hannover-Kirchhorst -> A 37 -> Messeschnellweg
- A7 from direction South (Kassel): A 7 -> AD Hannover-Süd -> A 37

The journey by taxi from the airport to the fairground costs about 56 Euro, from the airport to Hannover-City about 29 Euro (35 Euro nights and Sundays / holidays). During the exhibition taxis are located at the entrances North 2, West 1 + 3 and South 1.

The airport is about 20 kilometers from the fairgrounds. You can take the S-Bahn or shuttle buses to the exhibition center.
S-Bahn Lines Airport
The S-Bahn station is between Terminal B and C.
Line S8
Direct connection from airport Hannover-Langenhagen to station Hannover Messe / Laatzen.
Line S5
From the airport Langenhagen to Hannover Main Railway Station. From there you can take the underground line 8 to the fairgrounds, entrances Nord 1 + 2.
