From 22 to 26 April 2024, 2500 companies from around 60 countries will be presenting their innovations for the factories and energy systems of tomorrow at the exhibition center in Hanover.
Under the main theme of industrial transformation, they show how networked production plants work more efficiently and resource-saving or how energy can be generated and transmitted sustainably.
Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz will open the Hannover Messe. Norway is the partner country of the Hannover Messe 2024.

Day Ticket advance sale: 35,00 €

Reduced tickets only at the box office: 23,00 € (for pupils, apprentices, students and disabled).
Children under 15 years of age may only be admitted when accompanied by an adult serving as legal guardian. Children up to 6 years have free entry.

Public Transport
The GVH offers the Hannover Messe Ticket, this is interesting especially for exhibitors and long-term guests.
The Hannover Messe ticket entitles you to travel from 21/04/2024 – 26/04/2024 05:00 a.m. as often as you like within the entire tariff area (A-C) with all buses, trams, and trains of the GVH partners.
The Hannover Messe Cards are available in the Customer Center Karmarschstraße 30/32, online in the Mobility Shop and from the respective trade fair day at the Üstra-Infopoint in front of the exhibition center.
Please note that the Deutschlandticket that is valid nationwide can also be used.
The following tickets are recommended for day visitors to travel by public transport to the exhibition grounds:
From Hannover Main Railway Station / City:
One Person:
- Tageskarte (One zone "A", day ticket entitles to travel on the day of the ticket validity as often as you like by buses or trams of the GVH partners. On the day of the validity the ticket is valid until 5:00 a.m. the next day.), 6,80 €
- Einzelkarte (One zone "A", single ticket enables you to travel in one direction. It is valid to a maximum of two hours in all buses and trams of the GVH partners. Changes can be made, return and round trip journeys are not allowed.), 3,40 €
- Tageskarte Gruppe (One zone "A", day ticket for groups up to 5 persons), 12,50 €
One Person:
- Tageskarte (Two zones "AB", day ticket), 8,60 €
- Einzelkarte (Two zones "AB", single ticket), 4,30 €
- Tageskarte Gruppe (Two zones "AB", day ticket for groups), 15,60 €
Tram Lines 8 to the Entrances North 1+2
The tram departs from Hannover Main Railway Station via the stations Kröpcke, Aegidientorplatz, Altenbekener Damm, Bothmerstraße to the terminus Messe-Nord. Travel time: approx. 18 minutes.
Tram Lines 6 to the Entrances East 3
Via the stations Kröpcke, Aegidientorplatz, Braunschweiger Platz, Bult, Tierärztliche Hochschule, Kronsberg to the terminus Messe/Ost (Expo-Plaza).

Travel by Train
During the Hannover Messe, the trains of Deutsche Bahn will be holding directly at the station Hannover Messe / Laatzen. The train station is about 400 meters from the entrance West 1 .
Hannover Messe visitors arriving with Deutsche Bahn can currently benefit from a DB saver fare.

The journey by taxi from the airport to the fairground costs about 56 Euro, from the airport to Hannover-City about 29 Euro (35 Euro nights and Sundays / holidays). During the exhibition taxis are located at the entrances North 2, West 1 + 3 and South 1.

From the Airport to the Fairgrounds Hannover
The airport is about 20 kilometers from the fairgrounds. You can take the S-Bahn or shuttle buses to the exhibition center.
S-Bahn Lines Airport
The S-Bahn station is between Terminal B and C.

Direct connection from airport Hannover-Langenhagen to station Hannover Messe / Laatzen.
Line S5
From the airport Langenhagen to Hannover Main Railway Station. From there you can take the underground line 8 to the fairgrounds, entrances Nord 1 + 2.
